Hunt for Red October

Or hunt for the perfect wedding venue, as it is known too. Well, the viewings have oficially started. This weekend we’re scheduled to visit three venues, pictured above. This morning we saw Athelington Hall, which has a large area for a marquee, trampolines and other toys. We didn’t get to see the actual marquee as it had already been taken down for the winter, but we we were shown photos and had a tour of the grounds.

Tomorrow we’ll be viewing Hales Hall, which is the great medieval barn above, and St. Peter’s Hall, which is adjacent to St. Peter’s Brewery, which is nice. They all vary very much in style (and in cost), but we’ll keep our eyes wide until we spot the right location for our special event. (Awww.) Next week: more venues.
